All the successful people I know who also live with a strong sense of purpose have something in common. They all have faced and answered the question of what spirituality means in their life.
I believe there is a physical, mental, and spiritual side of each of us. No matter what you decide, you believe, if you are going to become 100% of the person you were designed to BE, you must do the work to have an answer for the spiritual side of your design.
I believe that ”positive values anchor you through adversity and ground you in success” when you are connected and authentically living them. The first step to living out your strongest beliefs is to clearly define your core values so you can quickly and concisely talk about what they mean in your life. Determining what you believe spiritually is an integral part of moving forward with confidence and living more intentionally in the good and the challenging times.
When I describe the spiritual side of my life, I use the value of Faith to describe what I believe.
JIM’S FAITH: My Faith speaks to my soul, it's something that I don't have to understand fully, and I think there's value in the things that I don't fully understand, I don't need complicated theological explanations for it to know that it's deep and meaningful to me. It's a part of my being that connects my existence in this life and what I feel and think is part of the purpose of my life.
My Faith has been foundational in shaping my perspective on life. As I have grown, I believe my faith starts as a relationship with God; I must daily pursue and cultivate. My faith is something I work at, to be honest, there times that I work way harder at it than others, but I think that is part of it too. I know without my faith in God, I wouldn’t be where I am today; it’s an anchor value in my life. My faith motivates me every day, and I want to live a life that represents the sacrifices that have made for all of us so we can live free.
What do you believe about your spirituality?
Keep Coming Forward!
