Mayhem Mindset with Jim Hensel // Winning should BE a byproduct of living your values and purpose

Winning and success should be a byproduct of aiming at purpose and value in your life.

CrossFit Games Champion Tasia Percevecz describes how this has proven true in her life:

“Totally, and when I didn't have purpose and value and I had success, it was not as meaningful as when having more purpose and value and then winning and getting it, it's like getting more peace, but not it determining how I'm going to feel. That was a really big thing for me this year, winning the games and from my other accomplishments before where I accomplished something great and it was just like relief in a sense of a negative way of, thank goodness I did that and it's over. Whereas to win the games this year and have more purpose in knowing who I am, it was a really cool feeling of, that's great. Life is really good outside of that. That was a great addition, but I had peace before that.”

Be careful not to get it out of order... It's not what you DO that defines you, but who you BE (your values, talents, and purpose). First know who you BE, so that whatever you DO after that is filled with purpose.

Keep Coming Forward,
